     Teacher Resources

The Mint Museums offer numerous free and low-cost resources for teachers, after-school providers and parents. Reference book libraries and a slide and video library support research needs on art history, techniques, architecture and collecting. K-12 teachers can earn certificate renewal credit through special workshops, and resources are available for use in the classroom. Guided and self-guided tours provide age-specific and curriculum-based lessons on world art and craft for preK-12 students. Four websites prepare students for their museum visits and link social studies lessons to art.

Teachers, download the Deciphering & Investigating Great Societies 5th grade Latin American Social Studies Curriculum Guide here.
